Rahul's Research Projects
A. Special Circuit Project
• Designed, built & tested an N-channel JFET bridge rectifier to detect & output pulses from the cardiac stellate cells.
• Characteristics: Stable output-signal produced by constant-current sink over a specified range of cardiovascular pulses.
B. Antenna Analysis
• Implemented a Method-of-Moments MATLAB Program for current distribution estimation on thin-wire antennas.
• Calculated & simulated the transmission polarization vectors between elliptically polarized antennas.
• Simulated the effects of Direction-Of-Arrival on directive gain, power gain, effective area & effective length.

C. Observation of CO and CO2 Absorption Lines at 1.57 micrometer
In this project, we detected the absorption lines of CO2 gas near the 1.57 micrometer range. We used a tunable diode laser to emit the desired wavelength range. Our nominal path in CO2 ranged from 5 cm to 100 cm.
