What is the difference between mixed cellularity Hodgkin disease and nodular sclerosing Hodgkin disease?
• Nodular sclerosing Hodgkin disease: classic RS cells are clearly visible.
• Mixed cellularity Hodgkin disease: most common type; RS cells are visible but are mixed with inflammatory cells like lymphocytes, histiocytes, eosinophils, and plasma cells. associated with EBV.
What may be a cause of decreased GFR in a chemotherapy patient who's hematocrit has become normal from previously lower values?
Increased glomerular oncotic pressure because renal plasma flow decreases as hematocrit increases.
What is the function of creatine kinase?
Production of creatine phosphate in skeletal muscle.
