Cancellation of Indian Trade Union Registration
A union's registration can be cancelled under the following circumstances:
1. When the application is not made by the trade union itself, it should be accompanied by a statement with reasons for cancellation or withdrawal signed by the people who sign the application.
2. When the certificate of registration was issued by mistake or under fraudulent conditions.
3. When the trade ceased to exist.
4. When the trade union has engaged in illegal activity such as unauthorized strikes, etc.
5. When the trade union as carried on its activities contrary to the provisions of this Act.
6. When the trade union cancels any rules.
7. When the primary objects of the union are no longer statutory objects.
