What happens on exposure to poison ivy?

There is a pruritic, linear, vesicular rash on the skin caused by release of INF-gamma from activated TH1 cells.

How is the amount of sodium reabsorbed per day calculated?

Amount of sodium reabsorbed = amount filtered - amount excreted.
= (plasma sodium concentration x GFR) - (urine sodium concentration x urine flow rate).

What is Legg-Calve-Perthes disease?

Avascular necrosis of the femoral head due to damaged medial femoral circumflex artery.

What does deja vu mean?

"Seen before."

What does jamais vu mean?

Failure to recognize objects seen before.

What does "confabulation" mean?

Falsely created memories.
